Disco Junk / Collective Hardcore
ENDisco Junk is a band from Melbourne, yeah, again. Recently formed, it just released an great split with Collective Hardcore on the soon-to-be-legendary Goodbye Boozy Records. And it delivers everything you’d expect from an Australian punk garage band: some trash, some fun, and some trash again. Its two new tracks never fall into slacker music, but one thing’s for sure, they’re a hymn to this Australian lifestyle that we’re probably increasingly fantasizing about. I encourage you to look at its discography, songs like “Outta Melbourne” and “Mutual Hate” are real kangaroo killers. The band that accompanies him on this split is the very good Collective Hardcore. Even dirtier, it starts with a “Panic Attack” that reminds us of the garage scene of the late 2000s. More DIY, you die. That doesn’t prevent it from delivering three excellent tracks (including “The Artist Formerly Known As Jimmy VS Diat“), yeah, it feels goooood. Collective Hardcore, I’ve got my eye on you.
