Best of 2025: Best albums

For the 15th consecutive year, Still in Rock publishes its selection of the year’s best albums. Any ranking exercise is necessarily imperfect, particularly when it seeks to compare post-punk, pop, and slacker music, but the list stands as an honest snapshot of the year. All albums are available for listening below and can be added to Spotify with a single click. Many thanks to everyone who keeps this ritual alive.
